Crawling Shadows

Last visual update broke the light / shadow effect and couldn't be fixed before 5 minutes after deadline so RIP Jam submission,  fixed version for those who want to play it.

Game is set in a realm time present-apocalyptic scenario where a shadow species invaded the world. You have to navigate to safety using stealth or by concoctions.

For all Lore nerds... Yes you know if you are one. (won't be much in the demo so gotta dump some here)

The shadow species consumes living creatures in order to adapt and change their forms to become more "perfect". Plot would be you researching them and finding a way to combat their ever growing evolution and ultimately finding a way to rid them all... Or perhaps a much bigger secret is revealed down the line. (multiple endings maybe? can't tell since that's a secret for me and my brain alone) I totally have an idea for that so far ahead yup... :D
